For those of you who are wondering where I've been all day, I've taken historical field trip to St. Joe, Arkansas, by invitation of some new friends of mine. What all did I do? Well, I looked around the train depot museum for a while, which is dedicated to the history of long abandoned Missouri and North Arkansas Railroad, then afterwards was the best part. I set out with two older men named Mitch and Larry to go treasure hunting on an untouched section of the old roadbed, I'll post some pictures of that later. Afterwards, we drove towards Harrison for a meeting at the Boone County Historical Society. After a while, before I headed home, I drove to nearby Bergman to see if by any chance there was a rare Alco diesel locomotive that I've been after for a while still working at the local feed plant; sadly it wasn't. Overall, while some things didn't turn out exactly the way I originally planned, it was still an awesome trip, and I especially would love to do more railroad treasure hunting in the future.
