"The Little Mermaid" remake's ending threw me to the left: First of all, why is Ariel the one to deliver the killing blow? Ursula was initially the one focusing on HER because she killed her eels. Why the hell would she be after Eric when all he did was stay tangled up?? Secondly, it defeats the purpose of King Triton's character development. And third of all, she's only been on land for 3 days. Ariel still has a lot of learning to do in regards to the human world and how it operates. It makes no sense for her to magically know how to steer a ship. Maybe if they had her studying how to prior, it would've explained things a lot better. It seems like Disney maintains the idea of their princesses needing to "save themselves". Ironically, Disney is sending a horrible message to little girls, basically saying "Hey, if you ever need help, you're a worthless damsel in distress, have a quality day, ladies!!" like WHAT?? So, TLDR; the ending is flawed, it makes no sense and is just an

Hey guys, DanielArkansanEngine here with an important announcement, I've thought about this and asked for advice on the matter(special thanks to HarrisBoyUK for that), but I am now ready to start taking commissions on DA. Now, I'm starting off doing this on a more limited basis, just to get a feel for it and to not overwhelm myself too quickly, so as a result, I have a rather small selection of options. But, if all goes well, and I start to feel more confident about it, I'll expand the options. And don't worry, I'll still do free requests occasionally, as well as my Q&As, so hopefully this is not too drastic of a change for some of you. Anyways, here are my options: Car bases - $5 per sprite (If you choose this option, please provide me the year, the make and the model, as well as provide me a good reference pic. I will only do real-life cars for this, so no fictional cars, including Pixar Cars.) Locomotive side-view sprites - $10 to $15 per sprite (depending on detail) (Please

Just got back seeing the solar eclipse in Arkansas. It was an incredible once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, and the company I had with my niece and nephews really enhanced it ^^. This is definitely something I'll look back on for years to come. Expect pictures of it soon.

Well guys, it seems like only yesterday since I wrote a journal about a solar eclipse in my area back in 2017, but here we are again. But here's the thing, this time...Arkansas is gonna fully be in the shadow!!! And this time I actually have proper eclipse glasses to see it. The eclipse starts around 1pm where I live, and I'll try to get some pictures, not of the eclipse itself as I don't have the right lenses for it, but perhaps of the shadow on the area. Anyways, I'm super excited to see it. Oh, and to any firebenders in the area....beware.

Hey, Daniel, how are you doing.

I know there are some words I have trouble understanding, like in Ask the R&W 112. Shunting and trucks are what my country prefers to say, as opposed to switching and cars. And I do mean on a railway.

Hello. Here’s my trainsona.

Hey I found this image of a switcher on a bridge

do you think that picture looked weird

It looks like scale model, that's what.
