How in the name of sanity did M. Night Shyamalan's "The Last Airbender" get green lit for a sequel? While me and a lot of other people were excited to see the first movie come out, who looked at it and thought, "Yeah, I so wanna see more of this,"? It butchered the source material, critical reaction was underwelmed at best, public reaction wasn't any better, it dominated the 2010 Razzie Awards, and was the final nail in the coffin for Shyamalan's reputation. Even with the large box office sales it generated, the chances of a sequel doing just as good, if not better, were slim to none. So again, who on Earth gave the green light to The Last Airbender 2?

Day Of Black Sun 2024
Well guys, it seems like only yesterday since I wrote a journal about a solar eclipse in my area back in 2017, but here we are again. But here's the thing, this time...Arkansas is gonna fully be in the shadow!!! And this time I actually have proper eclipse glasses to see it. The eclipse starts around 1pm where I live, and I'll try to get some pictures, not of the eclipse itself as I don't have the right lenses for it, but perhaps of the shadow on the area. Anyways, I'm super excited to see it. Oh, and to any firebenders in the area....beware.
New Years Eve 2023
Well guys, here we are again, the end of the year. 2023 has certainly been an interesting one for me, I went more places, did more interesting stuff and made some big changes in my life, that being getting a job. Yes, there were some not so great moments, like when I got plantar fascitis in my feet, my Steam account got hacked and threats from a couple of douches here on DA, all in the month of June. There was also adjusting to the changes in my life as a result of getting my job, like not volunteering at the museum as much as I used to, but it was all worth it because the amount of money I made was more than I could dream of in previous years. So overall, this year was an improvement over last year for me. However, unlike previous years, I am REALLY NOT looking forward to 2024, and if you're even the slightest bit familiar with American politics, you can already understand why. Peter Pan 2003 - 20 Years Later
20 years later and still the greatest adaptation of the boy who never grew up ever made. And how ironic is it that this, despite being made by Universal Studios, has a lot more of the Disney look, feel and magic to it than the actual Disney remake? Honestly, if you really much watch a live-action Peter Pan, just watch this version, screw Peter Pan and Wendy.
Frozen - 10 Years Later
10 years later and I still think it's great. It's also nice to see the hate for it has mostly died down, at least now when most people do show dislike for it(which really isn't that many in the grand scheme of things), they're not so hyperbolic or in-your-face about it.
