At last after many weeks of concentration and research, it's finally finished, my first TUGS OC, the Liberty ship Jason Quint.
Bio
Built in 1942 by the Bethlehem-Fairfield Shipyard in Baltimore, Maryland, Jason was one of 2,710 Liberty-class cargo ships built for the U.S. Merchant Marine during World War 2 to help a supply-hungry Britain, carrying everything from food and ammunition to tanks and locomotives. Jason has had many experiences during the war, from facing the fury of the Atlantic, to surviving a German U-boat attack, to participating in the liberation of Europe, delivering the essential supplies to push back the Germans.
Postwar times saw Jason purchased by a small independent freight shipping company based in the Gulf of Mexico, where he was disarmed, going from war vessel to civilian tramper danielarkansanengine.deviantar…. He was also retrofitted with a more powerful engine, allowing for faster speeds and replacing his under-powered original engine. Since then, he has traveled all across globe, through nearly all shipping waters, carrying countless cargoes to and from countless locations at every opportunity, such as Australia, India, Japan, China, Brazil, France, Italy, many African countries, the United Kingdom and the Island of Sodor(which he admitted to be one of his most favorite destinations).
